About the Book
Despite the often severe financial problems created by chemical dependency, finance is an area easily overlooked in recovery. In Money & Recovery, clients first complete an assessment of how drugs and alcohol have impacted their financial condition. Clients will then complete an assessment of their money habits, look at the association between money and their alcohol and drug use, as well as the issues pertinent to money and debt. Suggestions on monitoring spending, following a budget, developing financial plans, cutting down on expenses, and increasing savings are addressed. |
